Stuck in the middle with you.

I am a registered "unaffiliated" voter.  I do diligence to the honor of having the right to vote.  Even if, as JFK once pointed out, '... that being president is all about choosing between the many bad options that are available.'  I have never missed a state or national vote since I turned 18.
No matter if you are red or blue - if you were middle class a short time ago - you may not be now.   You bought a home you could afford.  Like us - you spent within your means, made ALL your payments/obligations on time, in full - you still have NO EQUITY.  You have credit scores touching the 800's, yet your stability degenerated out from under you while you did everything correctly. Your taxes rose, your voice went dead, your vote meant nothing.  Red or Blue - your children saw  leaders (who used to be considered persons we aspired to be) enveloped in dust storms obscuring any clear path.  Seems that dishonest ones can grab THEIRS out of the filth THEY created while you wonder if you should behave like they do in order to keep what is yours.  You tried to show your child that honesty, integrity and hard work was the way UP the ladder o higher living - good luck with that. Your teens understand that there are no rules, people just yell at each other to get their pointless point across.  This is now called, "DUH, WINNING"!   All our young adults see is that sardonic, farty, profane, and underhanded behavior is what gets them some inane pleasure and a momentary leg up on someone lower than them.  It is time to repair the SOP and it is time to act with conscience for yourself and those around you.  I am not a socialist, or communist.  I AM A US CITIZEN stuck in the middle, and slowly moving forward where I can regardless of hazards on the Right or Left.  I have All Wheel Drive mentality to guide me through any road conditions as far as the eye can see until I am safe at home again !
