Who's Revolting here?

The cracks in Warwick City Government has appeared to bust the dam.  We Pesky-Citizens who were already flooded (literally wetted 3/30/10) in financial pain, questioned the auto excise tax bill we all received this summer - we were trying to convey that the way the taxes were calculated, was one step too far to BLEED more money.  Our city has come to demonstrate the entire National Financial Crisis we are all drowning in.  The city barely raising some residential property taxes would have been a kindness if it wasn't for the cold-cock punch of the car tax bill that followed shortly after our property tax bill came.  **FYI:  Our city had a re-assessment done for fiscal 2010 resulting in a deep ($54,000.000 on our house) devaluation for all Warwick owners.  This, in the midst of a national depression/housing market collapse crisis.***  For keeping property tax low, it appeared to be favorable to have your house de-evaluated.  BUT - if you owned your home for many years, HAD equity, and wanted to take advantage of record low re-financing (without cash) with your mortgage lender ... now you are in upside-down equity.  You cannot refinance, no matter how great your credit scores are.  You cannot sell your home without a short fall sale.  God forbid we suffer job loss or medical crisis here without home equity to fall back on!  God forbid we cannot pay the bills with no raises and more expenses and we lose our home because we cannot afford a mortgage rate/payment since we cannot refinance!  And WTF happened to people with reverse mortgages?  I can't even fathom.  The Warwick Car Tax issue was playing the fiddle while my ass was on fire and my hair was catching.  So the Mayor and Council are mad at ME for asking them a question about the car tax?  So they said we cannot speak at City Hall without permission and special meeting?  So they said (LOST THAT ONE DINCHA!) we could not have signs at gatherings or meetings at City Hall?  And now it comes out in various media this week that your figure of $3.6 Million Dollar deficit which you used as the basis for the current and painful City Budget for this fiscal year ... IS NEWLY VALIDATED AND REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN a deficit of $900K!  Using millions of dollars more to do God Knows What ... which we voters did not, and would not, have agreed to?  The reason for the car tax used as RAISES for city administrators?  Mayor, do you have your pinky finger up to your lip, while stroking your cat?  

THIS IS MOST GOVERNMENT AT WORK. If it is happening here - it is happening where you live too. We suffer as a nation from this shining example of how your money is abused!  We could afford health, education and protecting SSA long into the future if each instance of corruption and ABUSE in over spending was addressed - not the big fights and laws.  The GOP and TPer's decry what you perceive as WRONG with "Liberals".  I AM AN INDEPENDENT for this reason!  

I don't think everyone should have a free ride.  If money was line item shown with correct accounting and use, the money would flow back to do what we pay for it to do.  The misuse of your money is largest part of TheProblem.  You don't get more from me if you cannot use what I gave in good faith with TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY.  *Slight Explosion of my Head Popping Off* which is why ...
@OccupyWallStreet - is being made fun of because they don't know exactly what they want to say, but the millions of us who are virtually participating with various cities Occupants who are on the ground, is STUNNING. The statement of solidarity of Occupy is that it is piles of crap like this 'small' issue in Warwick, RI, truly represents a nano-spec of what going on AS OUR WHOLE nation upset about the ways of doing (local, states and federal) the BUSINESS of elected LEADERSHIP for WE who put you in your office(s).  We are tongue tied for words to create an articulate/concise list of "platforms" that led to Occupy. There's a clusterf**k pile of issues that people cannot live with any longer.  THUS - #OccupyWallStreet cannot name ONE issue as 'their' priority clarion.  
The financial behaviors of leadership as shown here in Warwick - is at least ONE THING I can readily point at!   This one by one incidence of bad fiscal abuse is what has the majority of American's so angry.  Our financial "Issues" are so co-opted and so DEEPLY entangled - that - We don't know where to tell you to start cleaning up BECAUSE WE DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DID EXACTLY TO MAKE THE BIGGEST MESSES.  We did not make the mess, you did!  *AaarrrggghhhThud*

MMN (me, Sari Legge owning what I say) is trying to making The OccupYWallStreet point by following this Rhode Island story for you. If OccupyWallStreet had a unified message (besides immediate need for bathrooms they should rent with the donations flowing in) - it is - for Wall Street and Gov't to "START CLEANING UP YOUR MESS RIGHT NOW!  YOUR BEHAVIOR HAS EFFECTED OUR WELL BEING LONG ENOUGH.  Asking you to do it as self guided without supervision has not worked well for US[A]."   

Can I make it more clear?  If the Gov't was my kid (which, technically, as a tax paying citizen, it IS my kid!),  I would take all of your favorite things away from you until you do as you have been told!!!  MMN follows and participates with the Warwick Car Tax organizers -who got the Excise Tax Issue in front of the council after much sweat for our leaders to DO elected (paid for and expensively benefitted) DILIGENCE.  Once a light was shown by several citizens, the rest of us are clamoring for WARWICK GOVERNMENT TO OWN CULPABILITY! You(s) gut [sic] nowhere to hide - and it is your own doing! This is what happens when you LIE. Judge Judy says, "If you tell the truth, you don't have to have a good memory." Warwick leaders have been deflecting the car tax issue so hard that they made statements that showed Warwick your financial accounting secrets!  There is woeful malfeasance, now out, by your own unintended ass-covering/finger-pointing admissions.  You bunch have unraveled your whole budget as showing deep misuse of OUR MONEY.  Mayor, it feels like you in hiding from the dam of lies you burst.  The overflow is spilling effluence up to your armpits.  As you take your final stroll on the mayoral runway, remember the word HUBRIS while you go down face first into the mud that you threw on your city.
