My Medium: Special "Long Distance" Calling

My friend Lynn Kent has published a book.  I want to give her a boost. 

I have always had certainty that there IS life after death.  I met Lynn Kent as a Medium back in 2004. We became friends as the years unfolded. I first sought Lynn based on her very good reputation as a well known local Meduim.  My reason for seeking a Medium was that there was no other 'detective' way to get the answers I needed at that time. As you have read Sari Says/MMN, you see that if there is a will, I find a way, especially when the odds are against me.  Since I believe in an afterlife, seeking a highly reputable Medium was not odd to get the information I required. Not odd to me!   The trickster "ability" to be a "medium" (small m for charlatans!) allows scammers to abuse a vulnerable person with practiced Vegas type "Tells" to lure a sucker in.  Real Medium's get the same sort of doubt that good auto mechanics are stuck with.  Honesty & talent is a fair question. To the Buyer: BEWARE.  Lynn passed my muster as the Verified Real Deal within moments of my phone call to her.  I expected an answering machine for what I thought was a business line late on that Saturday night.  When she actually answered the phone, I was taken aback!  I dithered at first, and apologized for having called so late, and was there a business line I should use on Monday?  Lynn, with her strong New England accent, said that it was okay, and she was still up - what could she do for me?  Still unnerved, I asked if she was sure this time of night was okay?  She assured me.  My faithful cynic's shield kicked in.  I became very aware my wording to her.  My emotional status was already blown as being upset.  I said, "My pet was lost and I needed to find it, I think I know already, I have done all I could, and I believe you are the next realistic step." ....  a pause, a changed breathing pattern from her - and then - Lynn immediately described my pet in detail of breed, sex, colors - and that, yes, what I knew in my heart was true. She went on to says, "He is okay, but very new and surprised to be over there, but, yes, I am sorry, he is on the other side."

It was and was not what I wanted to hear, and I reacted as such.

LOSS overcame me. She could have soaked me good. She never has. I asked for an appointment to her then, RI office. Lynn said she'd get a better reading from my home for this kind of need, and was that okay?  Even heart sick, my 'radar blipped' about the wisdom of allowing a stranger, and a person of this claimed "gift" access to my home and vulnerable status.  As is my habit (good or bad at times), I asked how much would this cost as we cannot afford a lot. When she named her pricing at the time, for an hour, she under priced the amount I was assuming by a landslide. {My inner business woman wondered how she can make a living with those prices!}  We made the appointment for a couple days later, and Lynn Kent spent around 3 hours with me. Not charging me a dime over the one hour fee.  She does not freely drain her gifted energies as a habit, but like each of us, in our careers - sometimes giving yourself to one in need is better than money.  My long list of "gone people" wanting to 'talk' was like JFK air traffic control in prime time!  To this day, I forget Lynn was there as a conduit.  This always seems a direct conversation with each of the people I knew to speak/act/phrase as they did when alive.
She tapes (now CD records!) all client sessions in person or by phone.  From my first session tape, I have one precious EVP, audible wee MEOWS unmistakably from our little lost Baby Simba.  He's one of two pets in my life that did not live to old age.  In 2005, Lynn helped cross a spirit in this house who was the first Lady of the House.  We'd apparently gotten her attention when we started ripping the house apart for renovations ... I have the pictures and experiences of construction workers, my son, our cats - AND - my then Atheist, now Agnostic spouse!  That was an experience that could only be imagined on ghost  & Medium reality TV shows.  Oh, but it happened here!  Our home is quiet and comfy, have no fear.  Thank you, Lynn (and Ms. Elaine!)
