A couple of friends have a good answer for all of us who cannot be present: Ellen's Memorial Celebration will be on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. Service starts at 2:00 PM at College Avenue Church in Muncie Indiana. Ladies of the church will have cookies, punch and coffee afterwards.
As people loving and missing Ellen are GLOBAL in their sorrow and wishes to comfort the family and each other - there will be a world-wide candle lighting vigil to take place simultaneously with those attending the service. 2 PM Eastern time, 11 AM Pacific time, and Internationally. Please calculate your Time Zones. You just need a candle and a match. We can all pray together and know that Ellen will be watching us and seeing all of our candles flicker together.
