Please be advised that the Public Hearing for the car tax bill will be held at the State House on Wed. January 18, 2012 at 5PM after the rise in Room 313. It will go before John Brien in the Municiple Finance committee.
Everyone from the general public is invited to give both written and verbal testimony.
This is the key meeting that we need everyones support and attendance.
Very few bills if any move this quickly. There is a lot of support and excitement for this to pass.
We have been asked to give verbal testimony from the heart, not read from a sheet.
This is a very emotional issue and our statehouse supporters want us to drive home the personal impacts that this issue has had on all of us. This is a major moment and we need as many bodies as possible.
